A project-based 1, 2, 3 sequence across 2D, 3D, video, audio, and interactive media, with different focus titles and build topics by class.
This sequence
- Project-based sequence covering artistic creation and digital representation across several media formats
- Areas may include 2D graphics, 3D work, video, audio, and interactive experiences
- Classes 1, 2, and 3 can each carry a different focus title or featured project topic
- Inspired in part by Utah digital media course standards
What families should know
- Students explore both creative work and the technical ideas behind how computers display media
- Different classes in the sequence may lean more toward a specific medium, toolset, or project type
- Software and platform requirements vary by session and are shared before kickoff
- Prior experience is not required unless a later sequence class is marked otherwise
